Last week we have successfully launched a state-of-the-art drinking water treatment plant in the municipality of Štip, Republic of North Macedonia.
The water treatment plant is equipped with ultrafiltration and will operate with a capacity of 300 l / s, making it the largest and most powerful of its kind in North Macedonia and the neighboring countries.
Visiting the plant, the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Mr. Zoran Zaev, the Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Fatmir Bytyqi, and the Mayor of Stip d-r Saško Nikolov, once more highlighted the importance of such projects related to providing clean water and improving the quality of life.
The event was attended also by the Slovenian Ambassador in the Republic of North Macedonia Milan Predan.
The first phase of the project is now completed with the connection of the municipality of Štip to HS "Zletovica". The project is part of the country's Government 2017 - 2020 program for the implementation of projects related to providing clean drinking water for the residents of the municipalities of Probištip, Štip, Sveti Nikole, Karbinci, and Lozovo.
