Consortium partnership of the INNO2MARE project

Iskra is a proud consortium partner of the INNO2MARE project, which was awarded by the European Commission in the highly competitive Horizon Europe programme.
With almost 5 million EUR funding, the consortium consists of 19 organizations. It is coordinated by the University of Ljubljana and includes partners from the Slovenian, Croatian, and Belgium innovation ecosystems.

- Partners from Croatia: University of Rijeka, Faculty of Maritime Studies of Rijeka, Faculty of Engineering RITEH University of Rijeka, Step Ri - Science and Technology Park of the University of Rijeka, MS Tech, MARITIME CENTER OF EXCELLENCE, Regional Development Agency of PGZ, CTK Rijeka (Centar tehničke kulture), Institution Regional Energy Agency Kvarner and Urbanex
- Partners from Belgium: University of Antwerp, Antwerp Maritime Academy, De Blauwe Cluster and Port of Antwerp-Bruges.
The main goal of the programme is to strengthen the capacity for the excellence of Western Slovenian and Adriatic Croatian innovation ecosystems through a set of jointly designed and implemented actions that will support the digital and green transitions of the maritime and related industries.
The project will implement three Research & Innovation pilot projects that address some of the key challenges related to maritime education and training, security & safety in marine traffic, and energy conversion and management systems’ efficiency.
