Control: from energy supply to its consumption
Saving energy and the supply of electrical energy are an important factors. A successful power system operation requires the use of high-quality secondary equipment, which enables the protection, control, monitoring, and automation of individual devices as well as the entire system.
Control systems are the result of our own know-how and enable the full control over power systems and the optimum utilization of energy to our business partners. For complete control we offer a wide range of solutions: from substation control systems like intelligent remote terminal unit (RTU) to remote control centres and power system protection, control and automation. Control covers the entire scope, from energy supply to its consumption.
Data acquisition software for supervision
SCADA is supervisory control and data acquisition software that performs two essential tasks:
- Telemeters data back from remote sites and
- facilitates remote control from the System Control Centre.
The alarm system processes the collected data and, if an alarm condition is detected, it immediately alerts the engineer(s). By using our electricity meters (measuring transducers and measuring centres) you will adequately measure electric quantity of electricity generation and by using our network analysers you will once again measure the quality but this time after it is generated.
Energy consumption
Most electronic devices such as asynchronous motors, three-phase current commutator motors, transformers, reactors, melting furnaces, welders, fluorescent lamps and others require reactive energy, which results in additional load of the transfer line and other elements of connections. At the same time, the reactive energy represents the additional cost for the supplied energy to the consumer. This is why a device composed of a power factor controller, a contactor and capacitor banks needs to
be use.
Using meters, measuring centres and network analysers, we measure the electric values at energy generation points as well as at the point of consumption. If required, we convert it with measuring transducers into other physical values. The measured electric values are then collected and shown in real time using the SCADA system. And this provides our customers with a comprehensive overview of the energy consumed.
Quality measurement provides efficient consumption
Uncontrolled consumption of energy products increases costs and contributes to environmental pollution.
Efficiency of consumption can only be achieved by accurately measuring the consumption. We can quickly and efficiently transfer the measured values to the server and by using our software you can analyse and monitor current and past values and predict future values in detail. A group of one- and three-phase energy meters measures the consumption of electricity. The consumption of other energy products is measured by data loggers with a modem for remote communication.
These data loggers can also be used in explosion hazard environments. Only constant surveillance of the use of fuels can impact the consumption and lead to savings.
Reliable data transfer
The measured physical values are transferred via our communicators and concentrators to a server. This communicators support all of the most widely used methods of communication and data transfer such as Ethernet, LPR, GPRS/UMTS, XiFi, GPRS, SMS, serial communication, USB and others.
Control, analysis and taking action
The transferred measurements on the server are collected with the MiSMART software, which is intended for collecting and saving data covering the consumption of energy products in the industry, business buildings, residential properties, energy generation, etc.
The e-MIS software, which is intended for monitoring and forecasting the consumption of various energy products, helps energy managers keep energy books and forecast future consumption. Base eMis is an application which allows fast time-to-market solutions for any customer need.
Based on an energy review report, the management and employees can set the objectives as to how to reduce energy consumption, determine organizational measures, and foresee investments aimed at renewal or recasting the energy system.
